Windvvaker

"Strange black creatures" is kind of vague. What, with sharp teeth and claws to rend apart the flesh of their foes? Are they large? Are they small? Are they basically the Twilight Beasts from Twilight Princess? Are they just black shadow blobs, moving along the ground like sliding Jello that can shoot Shoop-da-whoop lasers out of their eyes? To me there's not enough build-up into this invasion, and if that was the intention, in general the writing feels short description-wise. Some parts are quite good while others are just lacking. I would almost like to see one more paragraph of normal-ness before the invasion of the ambiguous black beasts
